Annual Student Week for the Academic Session 2021-22 @ Silver Oaks: March 28 - April 1, 2022

Annual Student Week for the Academic Session 2021-22 was celebrated at Silver Oaks Schools & College from March 28 – April 1, 2022. A range of co-curricular and extra – curricular activities were executed. Oakians actively participated in Finals of Co-Curricular; Sports Day; Talent Hunt; Cultural Celebrations; Food Festival and Recreational Trips.

The week was phenomenal success, with thousands of pupils across the boards engaged in a wide range of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities – and the most importantly, everyone had great fun and stayed safe.

Cultural Day:

To engage pupils with their language and culture in a fun way and to encourage them to develop the skills of listening and performing, drama club was organized. Oakians portrayed different characters, authors and poets to entertain their peers and teachers. Art Gala proved to be a lot of fun where pupils used colors as a medium to explore a variety of materials and craft skills. To celebrate creativity and diversity during student week, cultural and food festival provided Oakians to dress up in cultural clothes and enjoy food specialties of a range of countries.

Oral Health Campaign:

An awareness campaign on “World Oral Health Month “2022” was arranged by Pakistan Association of Dental Students (PADS) at Darwin Campus under our Health & Nutrition vertical of Holistic Child Development Program. A demonstration based on the “Tell, Show, Do Technique” was given and volunteer dental checkups were offered to the learners.

Sports Day (Pre, Primary):

Pre School learners enjoyed Spot it games, spell a thon, singing competition, Art Exhibition and Sports day.

Sports Day (Senior Section):

Showcasing the Olympic values of friendship, respect and excellence, annual sports day, as a part of Student Week, was held at Jinnah Park Kickoff Football Academy and included football, cricket, badminton and races. Winning teams were awarded with trophies and medals.

Trip:

The recreational trips to Joy land (Pre-school, Primary & Middle) and Mabali Island (Secondary & Higher Secondary) were thoroughly enjoyed by the learners.
