Sharing is caring for sustainable consumption.

Sharing is caring is a common phrase, and it means sharing is an act of kindness, and when we share something with someone, it is equal to caring about them. But the question is; Why is sharing important? Sharing is important to spread joy. It is also a critical skill that comes in handy when kids play and learn with other kids. It improves empathy and helps build the social skills required for a well-adjusted adult. About the social action project “Sharing is Caring for Sustainable Consumption,” Silver Oaks launched the Reusability Campaign across the system on February 10, 2023.

Oakian Parents and pupils donated extra gently used clothes, shoes, books, and toys generously. The school contributed through “refurbishment” and made all items as good as new. The refurbishment was done before packing along with the Eid greetings. The CRs (members of the Student Council) from the relevant campuses actively participated in this activity at multiple levels of execution e.g. sorting, packing, and distributing goods.

On April 13, 2023, the delivery of supplies to the Muslim Hands Organization was organized for its needy members. The staff members were accompanied by a group of six students, including the Head Boy and Head Girl. An NGO called Muslim Hands assists those who are harmed by natural catastrophes, armed conflict, and poverty. Muslim Hands School, serves 40 000 kids and provides orphan youngsters with education as well as other supplementary services.
