The World Health Day is a global health awareness day celebrated every year on April 7, under the sponsorship of the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as other related organizations. World Health Day is acknowledged by various governments and non-governmental organizations with interests in public health issues, who also organize activities and highlight their support in media reports, such as the Global Health Council. Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a complex developmental disability; signs typically appear during early childhood and affect a person's ability to communicate and interact with others. There are 350,000 autistic children in Pakistan, according to a recent research of the ARC. One out of 66 children is autistic. It is very essential to spread the awareness in order to control the widespread of this problem. To commemorate this day, Oakians indulged in various activities. They highlighted the importance of exercise, good hygiene, and healthy diet through poems and skits like “MILK” and “My friend”. Learners of Preschool took part in hand washing activity. In addition, all learners were given an awareness note about “Health & Autism”.
