British International Schools magazine recognized all the winners of the 2018 British International School Awards who were honored at the awards ceremony in the United Kingdom. The awards, hosted by BIS and ISC Research, highlighted exceptional initiatives spearheaded by British International Schools and educators that are helping to strengthen education globally. Nominations included schools from 38 different countries. “We were very excited by the range of so many innovative projects that, in most cases, were very different to each other,” said Andrew Maiden, Editor of British International Schools. “It is clear that the pupils across these schools are being served by the very best in education today. The success of the first year’s event has inspired this year’s entrants to go that bit further.”
International Impact Award was won by Silver Oaks Schools & College (the only finalist from Pakistan) for global collaboration with schools around the world through our multiple Global Citizenship Education Initiatives (that include Global Citizenship Program; Connecting Classrooms Program; Personality Development Program and various our collaborative partnerships) aiming to bring pupils of the world closer through developing an understanding that “we are more similar than we are different”. Following the 21 British Council International School Awards, we have won between 2015-17, it is a great honor for our pupils, staff, and country that our approach to embedding global citizenship in our classrooms continues to be recognized at global platforms.
